Southrepps in North Norfolk, midway between Cromer and North Walsham, is a small village with a big heart. The community is always looking forward to the next event or taking part in a wide range of activities organised in and around the village every week. From country dancing, pilates and carpet bowls to lectures, rambles and visits organised by the Southrepps Society, to protecting and enhancing the local site of scientific interest through the Southrepps Commons Trust. And like many villages, community life centres around the church, the two pubs, the Vernon Arms and the Suffield Arms, and the Village Hall. A recently constructed 800 sq.ft. external timber stage links the Village Hall with the recreation ground, and forms one side of a natural grass arena used for Southrepps Fayre events and concerts.
Southrepps Village Fayre is a community and fundraising project supported by the Parish Council, St. James Parish Church, local businesses and village-based voluntary groups.
